The OLLI main office is located in Fairfax on the Tallwood site at 4210 Roberts Road. Tallwood is OLLI's headquarters and primary class site in Fairfax. This secluded site (part of the George Mason University main campus) can be accessed from Route 236 (Main Street) north of Tallwood or from Braddock Road south of Tallwood.
Parking at Tallwood
Be careful when driving on Roberts Road approaching Tallwood from the south because the hill obstructs the view of oncoming traffic. There is a limited amount of paved or gravel parking in front of and behind Tallwood, including several spaces restricted to vehicles with handicapped licenses/tags and spaces reserved for staff/instructors. Many parking spaces are available in the adjacent swimming pool parking lot, leased by OLLI for members' use during class hours. Overflow parking is available on streets in the neighborhood – both to the east directly across Roberts Road and to the north on the first street, Forest Avenue – but please be courteous to residents by leaving room next to driveways (Fairfax County code says no parking within 10 feet of a driveway); also, watch for no-parking signs.
